Beautiful autumn day for a birthday barbecue in Central New York… Today our son is home from college and we are celebrating his birthday.
I am enjoying my morning cup of tea while I get the fixins’ ready for a delicious meal with the family. The ribs are in the frig all rubbed with Lillie’s Q Carolina Dirt, and ready to slow roast before hitting the grill later this afternoon. They will go into the oven for 3-4 hours on a low heat and several bastings of Lillie’s Q Smoky sauce.
Lillie’s Q rubs and sauces are all natural, and a quick and easy rub for ribs and pulled pork. It’s my personal favorite – which is why always keep it on the shelves in our stores
Now onto the rest of the menu – wings and drummers; coleslaw; potatoes, and cupcakes.
We will finish up right before dinner with quick char on the grill for the ribs and with some grilled vegetables… then settle in for a feast!
